Kate Kirk aka Winter Pendragon is a classical composer from Noosa, Australia. She composes orchestral and fantasy ambient music and her music brings the listener to another world of fantasy. She blends Medieval, Celtic, cinematic, Christian and Gregorian elements, and Nordic instruments that weave mystical stories through her songs. Her music is designed for video games, television & film, gaming sessions, cinematics, tabletop gaming, medieval festivals, viking festivals, reading, writing and studying.

She started playing violin at the age of seven and was classically trained through her education. Her love of fantasy film and rpg music scoring led her to pursue classical composition. Her classical training and love of string instruments can be recognised in her music, as she celebrates the beautiful sound of instruments such as the Stradivari Violin, Cello and Harp.

Her love for medieval, Celtic and ethereal fantasy music reflects in her music and the harp, bagpipes, flute and Celtic vocals are celebrated in many of her pieces.
